The family and friends of Noel Aguilar held an Action on Saturday, February 28th at 3:00pm on the corner of Long Beach blvd. and Artesia blvd, right by where Noel was murdered by L.A. County Sheriffs. The community came out strong in support of Noel’s family and friends, including the Young Survivors Legacy Supports Network, Black Lives Matter Long Beach, and the Youth Justice Coalition.
Here is a video clip of Mary Herrera (pictured above), partner and mother of Noel Aguilar’s children, telling the heart-breaking story of how Noel was brutalized and dehumanized by police.
Noel’s daughter Denise Herrera also talked about missing him and broke down, upset about the fact that police are getting away with murdering her father. “How would they feel if it was their son?..” She was heartbroken about the fact that Noel’s baby daughter, Noely, will also grow up without her father. “I’m gonna feel so bad haven’t to tell her, that a cop shot your Dad.”

Noely Aguilar, baby daughter of Noel Aguilar, will now grow up without her father after LA Sheriffs shot and killed him.

Here is a message Mary put out for the community calling for Justice:
“Noel Aguilar was murdered by Los Angeles County Sheriffs Deputies, May 26 2014, in the city of Long Beach (outside of their jurisdiction). According to several eyewitness accounts, Noel was in handcuffs at the time he was shot, executed by a deputy in a homicidal rage. Noel’s family and friends immediately rose up to protest his killing, which came a year after (and in the same neighborhood as) the extrajudicial murder of his best friend, Jesse Delgadillo, April 28, 2013, by the LBPD.
This community is preyed upon by two of the most lethal manifestations of police terror in L.A. County, the LBPD and the LASD. Two friends who grew up together were each stolen from the arms of their families by these two criminalized law enforcement agencies. Noel and Jesse will forever be connected in our struggle, and THEIR PEOPLE ARE OUR PEOPLE.

Please come out and extend your compassion, determination, and SOLIDARITY with these courageous families and friends, as they fight for their loved ones legacies.

These thrill killers with badges aren’t going to stop hunting our loved ones until we all STAND TOGETHER AND SPEAK TOGETHER. all for one, and one for all. We are their PREY NO MORE.
On September 25 2014 Noel Aguilar’s baby girl was born Noely Aguilar-now almost 4 months didn’t got the opportunity to meet her daddy, to build priceless moments with him. No baby, No child should be left like Noely without her Daddy. It is very heartbreaking to see her everyday and know that one day she’s going to start asking WHERE’S MY DADDY?? And she will have to hear the Hurtful Truth of Why her daddy isn’t with her…”
